competently.ai (“the Service”) is operated by Competently Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17330828). By using the Service you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The service

Competently Ltd provides AI-assisted study materials for CII financial services examinations. It is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). “CII” and exam unit names such as R06 are used solely to describe the examinations the Service helps you prepare for.

Free trial

New accounts may start with a 7-day free trial of the Diploma plan. Payment details are collected when the trial begins, but no charge is made during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically continues and the first monthly payment of £25 is taken on the day the trial expires. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your Account page and you will not be charged. One free trial is available per account.

Subscriptions

Access is available on a monthly subscription basis, billed through Stripe: the Diploma plan (£25/month) covers the Diploma units (R01-R06, plus CF6 and ER1 when released), and the Advanced Diploma plan (£55/month, when available) additionally covers the Advanced Diploma (AF) units. You may cancel at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and part-months are not refunded. The free trial exists so you can evaluate the Service in full before any payment is taken. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have as a consumer.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service for personal study only.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell any part of the Service.
• Do not share account credentials with others.
